Crazy Sexy Diet "Adventure Cleanse", Day 4

Kale for my Breakfast Smoothie

Meditation?  There's an app for that.  Last night when I was wondering just how I was going discipline myself to sit down and shut up, I turned to my ipad.  Yep, I totally forgot to scan the ipad apps for meditation timers, ambiance music and the like.  Turns out I finally got my Ocean Waves and a handy dandy meditation timer.  I started with 7 minutes.  As I think I read in the Jivamukti book to start with 5 for an extended period of time and then you can work your way up.  I know Kris counts Kirtan as "Meditation" too, which I could do endlessly, but very erratically I thrive on kicking myself in the butt.

Devoured a lot of Kale this morning and then made the Dijon Dressing from the "Crazy Sexy Diet" book.  Mixed it with 2 heads of Red Cabbage and it made a delicious Coleslaw.  Almonds and an Apple.  Hopefully tomorrow I can make it to Whole Foods to stock up on some greens and get the Juicer going.

Kale, Banana.

Some ingredients for the Dijon Dressing from "Crazy Sexy Diet" Book.

I just put all ingredients in Mason Jar and Shook it Up.

Put the dressing on 2 heads of cabbage.  I added pepitas and sunflower seeds.

So what's this Cleanse all about?  Well, it seems a bit up to the individual, but there are some general ideas. Eat Vegan, Lemon Juice with water in the morning followed by a juice or low glycemic green smoothie before noon, wait to eat "food" until afternoon.  Meditate, Dry Brush, Move for 35 minutes.  Ditch the caffeine.  Transition with green teas, Yerba Mate, and Teccino (which claims to be gluten free on it's package).  Don't eat 3 hours before bed, ditch the gluten, eat whole foods, ditch sugar.  Try to eat lower glycemic fruits.  Sleep 8 hours, uninterrupted.

Do you guys have any favorite apps for yoga, meditation, pranayama?
